Kimberlin, best known for her starring role as Sheila Carter on Daytime's The Young And The Restless and
The Bold And The Beautiful, started her career modeling for the famed Nina Blanchard in the 80's. Trying her hand at acting, she captured roles in such films as Who's That Girl with Madonna, Eighteen Again with George Burns, The Opposite Sex with Courtney Cox and Eye Of The Tiger with Gary Busey, to name a few. She also landed a variety of television roles on shows such as Matt Houston, T.J. Hooker, Diagnosis Murder.
In 1991 she landed the role of Sheila Carter on CBS's The Young And The Restless. Together with producer/writer William Bell, Kimberlin created one of daytime drama’s most popular villains ever. The show experienced the highest ratings share in its history up to that point, prompting Bell to cross Kimberlin's character over to The Bold And The Beautiful, and in the first week, the show soared to number two in the ratings.
For the next fifteen years Kimberlin played the part of Sheila Carter on both shows. She has also had long term roles on daytime's Port Charles, One Life To Live and most recently on All My Children.
With her children grown, Kimberlin has the time and ability to travel for film work. First with the independent film American Hero and now, with the award-winning short film, The Necklace, currently being shown in festivals nationwide with much audience acclaim.
Kimberlin is an avid supporter of numerous charitable organizations and events, such as, "The Cystic Fibrosis" and "Susan G. Komen", and "American Airlines Celebrity Golf and Ski", to name a few.
A California native, Kimberlin lives in San Diego, where she most enjoys spending time with her husband, Gary, and children, Alexes and Nicholas.
